Insurance policy

Terms and conditions:

  1. A signed reservation Form will be deemed acceptance of these Terms
  2. The Yard is cover by the insurance policy XXXXXXXXXXXX.
  3. The Yard shall not be held responsible for events of Force Majeure, including but without limitation; strikes, lockouts or other industrial action by third parties, civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not) or threat or preparation for war, fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or other natural disaster, interruption of electricity supply or failure of public or private telecommunications network.
  4. Our insurance only covers hauling, launching and propping to the value of €90.000.
  5. Each Boat’s batteries should be switched off any electricity supply disconnected.
  6. No one is allowed to move/adjust any boat cradle, except the Yard’s staff.
  7. The use of Yard’s machinery, equipment (scaffolding, etc.) and materials is not allowed without permission of the Yard’s Management.
  8. No BBQs are allowed in the Yard under any circumstances.
  9. As a general rule naked flames are not to be used on the Yard’s premises.
  10. Vessel, crew and repair crew are to follow rules and regulations according to the Yard’s regulations.  Persons without proper clearance and management authorization are not allowed to Yard premises.
  11. Crew and workers are to be under the direct supervision of the Owners/Representatives/Master and are not considered as Yard’s personnel, the Boatyard holds no responsibility for any civil or penal claim that may arise during yachts stay at the Yard.
  12. The Yard reserves the right to auction boats berthed on land that do not fulfil all financial matters within two years period.
  13. All payments must be settled at least one day before launching.
  14. All boats must hold a valid insurance policy for the duration of their stay on land. The policy should include a provision for dry berthing and Owners/Representatives/Masters are responsible for ensuring their policy is fit for purpose.
  15. Safety of the yacht, inventory and personal belonging items, as Yard is not responsible for any lost items.
  16. Informing the Yard’s office written if someone is visiting the boat. No one else, besides the owner of the boat and the yards’ staff, is allowed to access the boats without written permission from the owner.
  17. You will require the experess permission of the Yard for any external workers and you must ensure that they are insured
  18. The Yard shall not be responsible for the loss of any articles or equipment left on the vessel.
  19. The Owner shall remove all combustible/ volatile chemicals prior to leaving the boat in storage. These chemicals include but are not limited to paint, thinners, gasoline etc.
